TRON: Legacy, Daft Punk

This was an uber late comer and not the typical album (since it was for a movie). But combine this great album with the massive amounts of respect I have for Daft Punk, and it made my top 3 newbies for the year.

Electric Toys, The Dig

This album never gets old to me. It’s mellow enough that it fits in my “just feel like relaxing” music rotations. It also has enough to make you move a bit in your cube when you need music to keep you going through the day. One of my favorite of the year, one of my favorite, period.

This had to be a given. Lots of hype leading up to it and it didn’t disappoint. Such a good album, it competes with Graduation in my rotation… that should say enough. Kanye wins.
